  • 1 garlic clove
  • 30 grams Parmesan cheese, cubed
  • 40 grams raw cashews
  • Handful flat leaf parsley leaves
  • Handful basil leaves
  • 1 Shallot stalk, roughly chopped
  • 250 grams Block of cream cheese, cut into 4 pieces

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place the garlic clove and Parmesan into mixing bowl and process for 5 seconds/speed 6.

    Add herbs & shallot to bowl and chop 3 seconds/speed 5.

    Add cashews to bowl and chop 3 seconds/speed 5.

    Add cream cheese and process 10-15 seconds/speed 4.5.

    Serve.

This recipe was inspired by the Herb & garlic cream cheese dip.  Wanted to make it feed more people one day, so added some extras and it works.

    We enjoyed the easy to make dip although it was a bit bland so we will add more herbs next time.  Thank you for the recipe.
