Dough
- 100 grams Whole Wheath Grain
- 300 grams lukewarm water
- 1 sachet dry yeast or 20g fresh yeast
- 1/2 level teaspoon salt
- 400 grams bakers flour
- 2 tablespoons softened butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
Filling
- 50 grams softened butter
- 30 grams brown sugar
- 60 grams sultanas or raisins
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 apples medium sized, peeled and cored

Recipe's preparation
Place whole wheat grain into the TM bowl. Mill for 1 minute on speed 9.
Add water, yeast, honey, flour, salt and butter. Mix for 5 seconds on speed 7.
Set dial to closed lid position and kneed the dough for 1 1/2 minutes on interval speed. "Dough mode"
Wrap dough in a bread mat or place in an oiled bowl covered in cling wrap.
Leave to prove in a warm place for 30 to 60 minutes until dough has roughly doubled in size.
After bread has proved place apples in thermomix bowl and press the turbo button for a second or two so that apples are roughly chopped.
Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees celcius fan forced or 200 without fan.
Roll out the dough to a rectangle that is roughly 35cm long and 20cm wide.
Spread with butter for filling.
Spread with chopped apples.
Sprinke with brown sugar, cinnamon and sultanas.
Roll up the dough with long side facing you so that you have a swiss roll shape.
Divide dough by cutting roll into 8 pieces and place cut side up into a greased round cake tin or oven proof saucepan aprox.20- 25 cm diameter. (See image.)
Leave to prove in a warm spot. for aprox 20 minutes
Place in oven for 20 to 30 minutes until browned on top.
Turn out onto a cooling rack.
When cool dust with TM milled icing sugar.

I didn't have whole wheat
I didn't have whole wheat grain so I used sunflower seeds & it added a delicious nutty flavour. Big winner with my husband & daughter. I'll be making these again
