  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 300 g plain flour

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Pre heat oven to 190 degrees.
  1. Grate chocolate 3 sec/sp 6. Scrape down sides.
  2. Melt chocolate 2 min/50d/sp 1.
  3. Add sugar & butter, mix 30 sec/sp 3.5
  4. Beat egg & vanilla through 10 sec/sp3.5
  5. Fold through flour & salt 10 sec/sp 3. Scrape sides down. Repeat if necessary.
  6. Chill for 1 hour.
  7. Using a teaspoon shape mixture into balls.
  8. Roll balls in chocolate sprinkles and place on lined oven tray.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Cool on rack.

Tip

Use a good quality chocolate not compounded chocolate. My preference is Old Gold Original.
