  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 60 grams raw sugar
  • 40 grams olive oil
  • 420 grams bakers flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 150 grams Cooked Wild Rice
  • 50 grams sultanas
  • 50 grams raisins

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place water, yeast and sugar into Themomix bowl and mix 2mins 37deg speed 2. Add oil, flour, egg and salt and mix 6 secs speed 6.  Add wild rice and knead 1 min Closed lidDough mode. Add sultanas and raisins and knead another 1 min Closed lidDough mode.

    Turn dough onto floured board and shape into ball. Place in greased bowl, cover with a cloth and leave to rise in a warm place for 30 mins. Turn out onto floured board and divide into 12 portions. Shape into balls and place onto well greased tray leaving space in between. Allow to rise another 30 mins then brush tops with water and bake in 180 deg oven for 20 mins until nicely golden brown. Buns should sound hollow when tapped.
