      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Egg whites
  1. insert butterfly into TM. Add egg whites and caster sugar 2mins, speed 4. After you have fluffy egg whites but them aside in a separate bowl.[ No need to clean out TM before making batter.

    Pre heat waffle iron.

  2. Batter
  3. 1) Soften butter in TM 37 degs, speed 2, 1minute.

    2) add milk, self raising flour, water, egg yolks and vanilla extract into TM with the butter.  Mix on speed 5 30 secs.

    3) insert butterfly to batter in TM bowl. Add egg whites to the TM and mix on speed spoon Gentle stir setting for 30 secs.  Scoop out the batter into a bowl.  If the whites still need more mixing into the batter, you can fold them through with a spatula.

    4)  using a large serving spoon, spoon batter onto your pre heated waffle iron.  Cook till your desired result is achieved and then repeat cooking your waffles until all the batter is gone.

    5) Top with your favourite topping and enjoy.

Made these today. Didn't have enough white SR flour so topped up with wholemeal SR flour. Seriously delicious, this one is a keeper.

Tasted good, but a bit stiff, so manually folded in egg white and added a bit more milk.

Delicious!  We added blueberries. Next time I will as a little more milk as this mix was quite stuff and sticky.
