SKIN

  • 300 g sweet potato
  • 500 g
  • 250 g water
  • 50 g oil
  • 50 g sugar

FILLING

  • 200 g mung beans, SOAKED FOR 1 1/2 HOUR AND DRAINED
  • 130 g sugar
  • 190 g water
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 4 piece pandan leaves

Recipe's preparation

    ANG KU KUIH
  1.  1) Put sweet potato into varoma dish and mung bean into varoma tray for steaming and set aside

     (30min / V /  speed  2)


    2) place sugar , water and pandan leaf into tm bowl and cook

    ( MC /5min/ temp100`c/ speed 2 )

     

    3) remove pandan leaves and add steamed beans to blend untill smooth

     ( MC/1min/ speed 7 )

     

    4) cook and remove to plate to cool

    (MC /5min / temp 100`c/ speed 2)

     

    5 )place cooked sweet potato, glutinous rice flour , water , oil and sugar into tm bowl to mix

    (MC/ 30sec/ speed 5)

     

    6) knead it to form a dough

    (MC/ 1min/ Dough mode )

     

    7) Divide the dough into 30 balls,rool each ball out into a flat disc and place filling in centre, wrap around filling and dust with a little rice flour before pressing into mould. turn each out onto a piece of  banana leaf cut to size, place into varoma dish and tray for steaming.

    You mention glutinous rice flour in your method but it is not in the ingredient list. Could you please tell us how much?
