Recipe's preparation
Pre-heat oven to 180'c.
Put onion and carrot in TM and chop for 5 seconds at Speed 7.
Add oil and saute for 2 minutes at speed 1 at 100'c
Add flour and stir for 3 seconds on speed 4
Add water and cook 1 minute at 70'c on Speed 1
Place chicken, stock, mustard and honey into bowl and cook for 5 minutes at 100'c, "Counter-clockwise operation" and "Gentle stir setting"
Add cream and cook for 20 minutes, at 100'c on "Counter-clockwise operation" and "Gentle stir setting" .
Let mixture cool until it is cool enough to handle.
Spoon a portion of the mixture onto a puff pastry sheet and fold into a parcel. Do this for each parcel required leaving some of the mixture aside to use as a pour over sauce.
Lightly brush the parcels with water and bake the parcels in the oven for approx 20 - 30 minutes until golden.
When parcels are cooked, place onto a plate and drizzel the remaining mixture over the parcel. A small amount of water can be added if the mixture is too thick.
Serve with salad or vegetables.

Sause can also be eaten without baking into puff pastry with rice or vegetables.

Mixed reviews from the family. Some liked it, some thought was ok.
Had to add a bit of corn flour to thicken the sauce, as too runny. If I made again would need to consider adding something else to help lift the flavour..... maybe more honey or mustard?

My husband thinks these are just as good as our gourmet butchers!
I added mushrooms and frozen peas, and salt and pepper. I used corn flour too.
I cranked the oven to over 220 degrees.
Allowed mixture to cool, but would leave it longer next time to cool even more.
Considering using Filo pastry next time, but the puff pastry was still great.
I would add extra veggies next time too!
Thanks! Delicious!
Left over roast chicken and
Left over roast chicken and asparagus were added to the cooled sauce and left in the fridge until ready to use. In the evening I filled the puff pastry and baked the parcels. They were delicious with various salads. Next time I will try with raw chicken.
i made this again and used Carnation evaporated milk in place of water and cream. Just as good and hopefully less fatty. Next time I will use less liquid.

These are yummy my kids even ate them!! Mine did dry out a little & I only did 4 parcels per sheet of pastry I think I will do 2 per sheet next time & put in more filling. I added more mustard & more honey but will try it with wine also next time. I did thicken it with the cornflour that worked a treat.

Greatt flavour and easy to
Greatt flavour and easy to make. Had trouble with the liquid. Turned it into 9 individual pies and scooped filling out with a fork. Still found the liquid prevented the pastry from cooking.
Will make again and try serving with rice or just topping with pastry.
partner loved it, ate 4 in one serving!
Great flavour. i did need to

Very tasty! As suggested I am waiting for the filling to cool down a bit more before making the pies, but I do think it was a bit "runny" so I have added 2 tablespoons of cornflour to thicken it a bit. Can't wait to try!

Beautiful, next time I will make the sauce and let it cool before putting into the pastry so that the pastry does not fall apart!!!!!

The flavour is great ... I
The flavour is great ... I encounted the same problem as others insofar as the hot mixture totally killed the puff pastry. I will definitely make this again, but next time, I'll cool the mixture completely before preparing the parcels. I think this is the only way to get a presentable finish. It'll be one of my 'make ahead' meals. I've popped the parcels in the fridge now in the hope that it might save the parcels, but if that doesn't work, I'll wrap them in another layer of puff pastry when they are cooled and then cook them. I think the flavour would be divine just as a meal with veges and rice though.
YUMMY!!! I used this recipe
YUMMY!!! I used this recipe for the filling and served it with rice and it was sooooo yummy! I found the same recipe elsewhere so didn't think to use it for parcels, will definitely give that a go - anything to make food fun for the rascals! Will be a regular for sure!
Oh dear what a mess these
Oh dear what a mess these turned out to be lol! The filling tasted beautiful but how on earth do you get the parcels to look like that in the pic?? As soon as I spooned my (thickened) mixture onto the pastry, it immediately became soft and extremely soggy to the point that I could barely pick it up to transfer to the tray! Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated...
Was lovely out grated cheese
Was lovely out grated cheese on top of the mixture before wrapping in FILO pastry.

Made these last night - made
Made these last night - made rough puff pastry EDC first - really enjoyed the flavour. Next time I would either cool the mixture or place the pastry on the baking tray - had a bit of a mess as the pastry softened. Lol. Will definitely be making them again. Thanks for the recipe.

Very nice flavour. My husband
Very nice flavour. My husband loved it. I used Filo pastry as it was close to use by and it turned out perfect (I just scooped out chunks of chicken so it wasn't too wet for the pastry).
I halved the recipe and made 2 Filo parcels and had a lot leftover so put in casserole dish with scrunched up Filo pastry on top.
The flavour would suit mushrooms being added too but it would probably turn the mix a murky colour.
We loved these although I
We loved these although I wrapped them in Phyllo pastry instead. Beautiful flavour. Our family loved them.
Lovely flavours. Touch of
Lovely flavours. Touch of honey is nice addition. Quite big servings. Could make lighter using filo pastry.
