Mushroom Stroganoff Pasta Sauce

Ingredients

2 portion(s)

  • 100 g pasta of choice
  • 200 g green beans, topped and tailed
  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil
  • 4 rashers of short cut bacon, diced (I used 8 as I like lots of bacon)
  • 200 g mushrooms, halved
  • 1 Roma tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1/3 light sour cream, cup
  • 165 g sachet liquid Diane sauce

Recipe's preparation

  1. Cook pasta in boiling, lightly salted water for 7 minutes.  Add beans and return to the boil.  Cook for 2 minutes until pasta and beans are tender, but still firm to the bite.  Drain.

  2. Place oil, mushrooms and bacon in TMX bowl and cook at 100C on Counter-clockwise operation speed 1 for 6 minutes or until golden.

  3. Add tomato, tomato paste and diane sauce and cook at 100C on  Counter-clockwise operation speed 1 for 2 minutes.

  4. Add sour cream and cook at 100C on reverse speed for 1 minute.

  5. Serve over pasta and beans.
