Mixed Chilli Jam (HOT)
- 10 piece chilli, fresh, red, green, jalapeno, birds eye, habanero etc. Halved and stalk removed
- 200 grams brown onions, peeled, quartered
- 4 clove garlic, skin removed
- 250 grams brown sugar
- 30 grams lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 55 grams red wine vinegar
- 1 heaped tablespoons hoisin sauce

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Place all ingredients into bowl
- Chop for 5 seconds, speed 5
- Cook for 50 minutes, 90 degrees using simmering basket instead of MC
- Pour into sterilized glass jars and seal immediately
- Allow to cool to room temp and refrigerate
