Recipe's preparation

    Babys first chicken casserole 6-7 months suitable for freezing
  1. Add the washed leek and unsalted butter and cook for 3mins Varoma speed 1

  2. Dice the chicken thigh into 2cm cubes, (disgard any fat or stringy bits from the thighs) and cook for 4mins 100 degrees Counter-clockwise operation speed 1

  3. Add 300mls of water

    add the sweet potato and carrot

    cook for 15mins, 100degrees speed 1

  4. Blend for approx 45secs at speed 7

Tip

If you only have tank water, i would use a low sodium bottled water because tank water can often contain mosquito eggs, frogs or other debris from leaf litter, birds or bats

As you can see by the photo the texture of the chicken is very smooth for a young baby (6 - 7 months) but at your discretion you can increase the texture for (7 - 9 months) and 9+ increase further to your childs liking

  • Chicken meat should be made

    Chicken meat should be made as small as possible, in case it chokes the baby and makes it difficult to digest for baby.
