Recipe's preparation

Baby Puree - 6-7 months (suitable for freezing)
  1. Chop the onion 3 secs speed 7

  2. Add the unsalted butter and cook for 3mins Varoma speed 1

  3. Add the carrot and chop 3 secs speed 7

  4. Add 250mls of water

and the diced potato and cook for 15mins 100 degrees speed 1

  5. Add the small tin of sweetcorn (tinned is better because they are super sweet and softer than hard raw corn on the cobs)

Cook for a further 5 mins 100 degrees speed 1

  6. Strain the mix through a seive and using a soft silicone spatula push the puree through the seive leaving only the sweetcorn skins behind.

Note: Babys tummys cannot digest or handle the corn skins at this age, so the cooking draws out the goodness of the corn leaving the tough bits behind)

  7. My AVENT cups fit nicely into the MC hole and i zero the scales to weigh the portions into 3 containers or zip lock freezer bags, label and date
