All in one banana cake

Ingredients

  • 125 grams Butter, Roughly chopped
  • 2 medium bananas, roughly chopped
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 300 grams SR flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Milk

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. 1. Put butter into the Closed lid

    2. Melt at 60, sp.4 for 3 minutes, or until melted.

    3. Add remaining ingredients.

    4. Blend sp5, for 40 seconds, or until banana is chopped to your liking.

    5. Tip into a greased and lined slice tin. Base measurements app. 27cm x 19cm

    6. Bake in a preheated 180c oven for 25 - 35 minutes, or until done when tested.

    7. Optional: when hot cake comes out of oven, brush with a little melted butter and sprinkle with a  light dusting of cinnamon sugar.

Tip

This recipe is a variant on my "All in one apple cake"

The addition of butter and cinnamon sugar after baking is an own optional extra and can be left out if desired.

Delicious served warm with custard or icecream.

    Really good recipe.
    I changed some of the ingredients, I used gluten free flour a baking powder, an extra banana, soft brown sugar instead of white sugar and an extra egg as gluten free flour tends to be dry.
    It turned delicious

    Really nice quick recipe, just what I was looking for when I had unexpected visitors! My oven cooked it about 8 minutes less than the 25 minutes stated so just as a warning to others, I would check on it after about 20 minutes. I used a 19cmx27cm slice tin. Very tasty, enjoyed by all!

    Too easy! Too yummy! Kids devoured it for afternoon tea!

    I made it a second time and added a cup of chocolate chips and poured the mixture into patty pans. Made awesome banana chocolate chip muffins!
