      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Traditional Scottish Shortbread
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees

  2.  

    Mill sugar 10-20 seconds - speed 9

  3.  

    Add butter 5 seconds - speed 8

  4.  

    Insert butterfly 3 minutes - speed 4

  5.  

    Add flour 2 minutes -Dough mode knead

  6.  

    Roll out onto Thermomat to 3/4 inch thick 

  7.  

    Cut out shapes and prick with fork

  8.  

    Place evenly on lined tray

  9.  

    Bake 25-30 minutes

     

    Until golden brown
