- 300g sunflower seeds
- 50g chia seeds
- 40g Crio Bru granules or ground cacao nibs
- 35g raw cacao powder
- 20g 100% Whey Protein Isolate Powder (natural flavour)
- 10g natural vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Natural Peppermint extract
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 165g brown rice malt syrup
For bit more sweetness
- 100 g Dates pitted
- 6-8 drops 100% orange or peppermint oil, Depending if wanting choc/mint or choc/orange

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Grind sunflower seeds 10sec/speed 10
Add remaining ingredients in order listed, if prefer sweeter balls add some pitted dates and pure oils instead of extract and less syrup
Mix for 15sec/speed 6. Scrape down sides of bowl and mix for a further 5 secs if needed
Roll into balls and if desired coat in either cacao nibs, cacao powder, shredded coconut, chopped nuts or coat in melted dark chocolate for an indulgent treat
*You can add more peppermint extract or cacao powder for more intense flavour
*Keep in sealed container in refrigerator. Best consumed within two weeks.
*Omit protein powder for dairy/lactose free
*Use smaller sunflower seeds not dark or large ones
