For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Line tray with baking paper (27cm external width x 40cm external length x 2.45cm depth).
  2. Place nuts (2-3 batches) into mixing bowl, place lid and MC and chop 2-3sec/speed 5. Repeat until all nuts have been chopped. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
  3. Place dark chocolate in mixing bowl, place lid and MC and grate 5sec/speed 8. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
  4. Add butter and melt 2-3min/50 degrees/speed 2, or until butter and chocolate are melted, with lid and MC in place.
  5. Pour melted butter and chocolate into the lined tray.
  6. Place peanut butter, maple syrup and coconut oil in mixing bowl, place lid and MC and melt 2min/50 degrees/speed 2 until melted.
  7. Add reserved nuts, coconut, place lid and MC and mix 10sec/speed 4. Tip - use the spatula through the mixing bowl lid to ensure the nuts are mixing in the bowl.
  8. Place the nut mixture on top of the dark chocolate in the lined tray. Press firmly, then refrigerate until set (approx 1-3hours).
  9. Place white chocolate in mixing bowl, place lid and MC and grate 5sec/speed 8. Then melt 2min/50 degrees/speed 2, or until completely melted. Drizzle over the top of the slice and cut into squares to serve.
