Chocolate Macadamia Brownies

  • 125 g dark chocolate
  • 150 g Butter
  • 3 --- eggs
  • 300 g sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence (or Paste)
  • 20 g cacao powder
  • 50 g Macadamia halves
  • 130 g plain flour

Recipe's preparation

    Chocolate Macadamia Brownies
  1. Preheat Oven to 160 deg.

    Line Square baking tin with baking paper.

    Chop Chocolate & Butter, 5 sec at Speed 5

    Melt Butter & Chocolate, 2 - 3 mins, 60 deg at Speed 1.

    Add Eggs, Sugar, Vanilla Essence and mix 5 secs at Speed 4.

    Add Flour & Cacao Powder and mix 5 - 10 secs at Speed 4.  You may need to scrape down side after first 5 secs.

    Stir through Macadamia Halves, pour mix into prepared tin.

    Bake 40 - 50 mins.  Skewer should come out clean but mix should still be softish on the inside.  Do not overcook.  Brownies should be slightly crunchy on the outside with a gooey, delicious inside.
