Chocolate self saucing pudding

Ingredients

Pudding

  • 120 g Butter, Melt 2mins/50C/Sp3
  • 250 g Milk
  • 260 g self-rasing flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 120 g brown sugar

Sauce

  • 120 g brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 500 g very Hot Water

Recipe's preparation

    Pudding
  1. Pre-heat oven 175 degrees

    Melt butter in TM 2 mins /50C/Speed 3

    Add milk, SR flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar and mix 15 seconds on speed 5.

    Pour mixture into prepared baking dish and set aside.

  2. Sauce
  3. No need to rinse the bowl.

    Pour very hot water into TM with cocoa powder and brown sugar. Heat 2 minutes/100C/Speed 2.

    Using large spoon (or spatula) slowly pour the water mixture over the back of the spoon to cover pudding mixture.

    Bake in oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is just firm.

    Stand for 5 minute.

  4. Additions
  5. Let your imagination run wild. Serve with whipped cream. Throw some choc chips or peanuts into the mixture. Swirl through caramel sauce or peanut butter before baking.

Tip

This is a fantastic dessert for kids to prepare. I have never made this and the kids not ask to put in something extra. Usually marshmellows if we have them!
