      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 160°c fan forced
    Place margarine, sugars and vanilla 10sec/speed 4, scrap down sides and repeat 10sec/speed 4 until well combined - it may take 4-5 tries, as the margarine is a lot softer than butter you can use the butterfly whisk, but I'm lazy
    Add egg 30sec/speed 4
    Add flour and baking powderDough mode45sec
    Add chocolate chips 30secs/reverseCounter-clockwise operation /speed 2
    Use icecream scoop to measue onto baking tray, then cut each mound into 4
    Bake at 160°c fan forced for 12 mins

Tip

I use Aldi organic choc chips when available as they are dairy free. Otherwise you need to chop 150g 4sec/speed 5
