      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add butter, golden syrup, sugar and baking soda to the bowl. Melt for 3 minutes, 65°C at speed 1.5.
  2. Add the flour and mix for 15 seconds on speed 3.
  3. Scrape down the sides. Then mix for a further 15 seconds at speed 3.
  4. Roll into biscuits and place on a prepared baking tray.
  5. Bake for 7-9 minutes, or until golden brown.

    I can't see a temperature for baking the biscuits. I'm going to assume 180C?
