      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Put oven on 160 degrees, line baking tray (1 or 2 depending on size) with non stick baking paper
    Place Butter and Sugar in the bowl and put lid and MC on, cream together, 30 seconds/speed 4, scrape down sides and cream for a further 10 seconds/speed 4 if required.
    Add Vanilla Essence and Milk, put lid and MC on and mix 10 seconds/speed 4
    Add Flour and Custard Powder, put lid and MC on and mix 20 seconds/speed 5, mix for a further 10 seconds/speed 5 if required.
    Roll Dough into approx 20 balls and place on baking tray, make indentation on each ball with a teaspoon and fill each hole with a small amount of jam.
    Place in oven and cook for approx 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.
