For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Empty packet of malt biscuits into the mixing jug. Crush for 5sec/sp5 or until all biscuits resemble of fine crumb. Empty jug into a bowl, add in fruit puff sweets and set aside.
- Place butter into the mixing jug and melt for 2min/50degrees/sp1. Add to the butter the condensed milk and warm for a further 1min/50degrees/sp1.
- Pour in the bowl of crushed biscuits and fruit puffs to the mixing jug. Combine ingredients for 30sec/sp4 "Counter-clockwise operation"
- Once combined pour onto a piece of baking paper aprox 40cm wide and roll into a log shape, then sprinkle with coconut.
Re-wrap in the baking paper and put in the fridge to set for approx 4 hours or overnight
