      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

  • I made a stack of these and

I made a stack of these and they are great - I am going to try using them as a healthier version of a rum ball by soaking the fruti in rum overnight first.  Mine were just a little on the drier side - still really good, but I think the rum will make them a little juicier!  I will be making these on a regular basis to keep in the fridge!

Let me know if anyone wants to know how the rum goes!

  • These are YUM! I have to stop

    Submitted by kkap on 7. August 2015 - 13:02.

These are YUM! I have to stop myself from eating them all at once. They are so easily adapted to suit different tastes. I sometimes add more seeds or even protein powder, maca, oats, dried wheatgrass, etc (I put less nuts if I increase other dry ingredients). If the mix is a bit dry, I add more coconut oil or some nut milk and whiz for a few more seconds. My go to recipe!

This is by far my favourite fruit ball recipe. I forgot to soak the dates the first time, was still okay but second time I soaked them and the mixture was just perfect. Thanks for sharing.
