Low-carb porridge with berries

  • 8 grams Flaxseed
  • 25 grams almonds
  • 5 grams oats
  • 200 grams Milk

  • 0.5 pinches cinnamon
  • 120 grams fresh, mixed berries (e.g, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries), halved depending on size

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add 8 grams flaxseed into mixing bowl

  2. Crush for 15 sec/speed 10
  3. Add 25 grams almonds into mixing bowl
  4. Crush for 3 sec/speed 6
  5. Heat for 5 min/Varoma/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 0.5
  6. Add 5 grams oats into mixing bowl
  7. Add 200 grams milk into mixing bowl
  8. Add 0.5 pinch salt into mixing bowl
  9. Add 0.5 pinch cinnamon into mixing bowl
  10. Cook for 5 min/100°C/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 2.
  11. Add half of the berries.
  12. Stir in for 4 sec/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 3. Let it sit in the mixing bowl for 8 minutes
  13. Sprinkle porridge with remaining berries and coconut blossom sugar.
