My husband had been buying the Cripps store bought pikelets at $3 a packet of 8. I couldn't justify when I could make more for less. He loved this recipe. I only used 6table spoons of raw sugar And Will make every week!

  • Wow! These are YUM. At first

Wow! These are YUM. At first I was a bit worried because the pikelet mixture is a lot thinner than I'm used to. These turned out so lovely and light. I will use less sugar next time as I did find them a little too sweet. I will definitely make again. Love

Yum yum yum yum yum! I have been making these for years and these are the best ones that I have tried.

I melted the butter for a bit longer and halved the sugar.  tmrc_emoticons.)

  • These really were yum! Made

These really were yum! Made 17 large pikelets. Used 6 T caster sugar (100g) which was plenty. Heated the butter for longer as it was just out of the fridge.

Just melted in your mouth, so soft and fluffy. Will certainly be making again.
