Quinoa Flake Granola

  • 60 g pecans
  • 60 g Almond flakes
  • 25 g pumpkin seeds
  • 35 g sunflower seeds
  • 200 g Quinoa flakes
  • 35 g coconut flakes
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 70 g Maple syrup
  • 35 g coconut oil
  • 50 g honey

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 180C.

    2.Line a large tray with baking paper.

    3. Place pecans in bowl and chop on spd 5 for 1-2 secs.

    4. Add almonds, pumpkin & sunflower seeds, quinoa flakes, coconut flakes, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix on reverse, spd 2 for 10 secs.

    5. Add maple syrup, coconut oil and honey. Mix on reverse, spd 3 for 10 secs.

    6. Pour mixture evenly on tray and bake for 50 mins. Every 10 minutes you must mix the granola with a spoon and re-lay evenly so it doesn't burn.

    7. Once it has reached a golden brown, let it cool completely and place in air tight container.

    8. Will last 2 weeks.
