      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add sugar and water.
    3 minutes, varoma, speed 2.
    Pour into a jar and keep in the fridge for upto one month.

Tip

This is very simple, just saves standing and stiring over the stove tmrc_emoticons.;)
Great for cocktails, flavouring iced coffee etc.
You could also pop in flavourings like a cinnamon stick.

    Going to make for Xmas cocktails. Dumb question, sorry, put how much do you put in a cocktail, say Majito when the recipe says 2 teaspoon caster sugar, do I use the same amount of sugar syrup.
