Wholegrain Vanilla Pancakes

  • 20 grams Rapadura Sugar
  • 160 grams wholegrain self raising flour
  • 230 grams Milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Paste
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda / bi-carb soda

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place sugar, SR flour & baking soda / bi-carb into TM bowl.  Mill 5 sec / sp 7

  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix 10 sec / sp 5

    Scrape down TM bowl  

  3. Mix again 10 sec / sp 5

  4. Place frypan on medium heat add a small amount of butter to pan and pour required amount of pancake mix into the pan.  

    This depends on how big or little you like your pancakes.  

    Turn the pancakes when bubble's appear all over the side that you can see (usually after 2 to 3 minutes).

    Cook the other side for a minute or two.

  5. Keep pancakes hot in the thermo server.

Keep pancakes warm in the thermoserver whilst you cook the remainder.

Can be served with any combination of fresh fruit, yoghurt, ice cream or maple syrup!

You could use any type of sugar and it would work. Some recipes double the sugar amount which you could but I think its sweet enough with the toppings added!
