      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Yum, just what I felt like.
I've made chai tea before and even after straining it there were ground up tea leaves in it.
    This strained so much better.

Next time I will cut down on the sugar, maybe 80 grams, it's a little sweet but still lovely.

I made it with almond milk.

Lovely recipe. I might try less sugar next time. Had it boiled water and it remained very tasty.

I made mine without sugar and it turned out well except I read the recipe wrong and put in too much cardamom! I put the powder into my thermal mug and added hot water and was ready to hit the road!

Made this tonight with soy powder & it's very nice. Next time I'll substitute coconut sugar too & one day will add some turmeric for its health benefits. It will be a huge hit with the kids who are limited to water, milk, soy milk & the occasional milo. Thank-you.

I have made this a few times and love it. Reduced sugar to 30g and found it sweet enough. Smile

  • I LOVE this recipe and did it

    Submitted by jodi251 on 10. July 2016 - 20:32.

I LOVE this recipe and did it tonight so I could have a nice warm drink for the night. I was really, really happy of the outcome and it was extremely easy to follow. I'm not the cook in the house, so for me it needed to be easy! Thank you so much!
