Apricot Ginger Summer Frappe

Ingredients

1 litre(s)

  • 10 grams piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • 100 grams raw sugar
  • 6 Fresh Apricots
  • 600ml sparkling mineral water
  • 2 trays of ice cubes

Recipe's preparation

  1. Mill Raw Sugar on Speed 9 for 30 seconds

  2. Add Fresh Ginger cut into round discs and blend Speed 9 for a further 20 seconds

  3. Add Fresh Apricots with stones removed and one ice cube tray at a time and blend on Speed 8 for 1 minute with the aid of the spatula

  4. Add Sparkling Mineral Water and mix on Speed 4 until combined

    Serve immediately!

    Thank you for this recipe.Just made this at it was tasty and very refreshing on a hot day. I have so many apricots to use up at the moment and am trying to avoid making jam. This iwas a great solution. Will now freeze some apricot puree to use as needed.

    I'm quite interested in ginger drinks because ginger has digestive benefits and can help reduce nausea, bloating and constipation. I don't have a good stomach so this will definitely be a great drink.
