Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Add all ingredients to bowl & heat 4 minutes, 70/75°, speed 3.
- Now froth your milk by blending 20 seconds, speed 8.

Tip
If you would like more than one serve simply add extra milk & extend your heating time so it hits the desired temperature.
Add 1 tbsp of drinking chocolate, or 1 tsp cacao/cocoa to the ingredients at the start to make a mocha.
If you don't like an especially milky coffee, you can replace some of the milk with water.

I'm going to try this using my instant coffee but for those use the ponds, do you just empty the pod into the thermi jug or do you brew your pod first?

Really awesome! I like that I can adjust my sweetness and the amount of milk and coffee, unlike the Dalgona which is addictive but way too sweet. This is something I can drink every morning, guilt free! Thank you so much for this, I can now enjoy my favourite coffee without costing me a bomb at cafes!

I gave this a whirl using coconut milk and it didn't froth. I gave it an extra go, but no froth. I am still giving 5 stars though as I know that's a common thing with non-dairy milks. Still tastes yum

Have had this quite a few times in my non thermi, and now have one and is even better! Although I did 600grams of milk yesterday at 75degrees and it wasn't quite hot enough, so I tried 300 grams of milk on 80degrees and it's much better. So much cheaper than a bought coffee!

I do this often during the week and put it in my thermal mug to take to work. Saves money by not buying take away coffees and also saves waste (no take away cups). I make mine without sugar. I also make a version of this using Caro instead of coffee which is also lovely.

Jessb1986: I'm yet to try this recipe but I would imagine ground beans would leave some 'grit' where instant coffee would dissolve. If you're brewing your ground beans though it might be a different story.
