Very nice. Though I will make it next time with 2 teaspoons of mix as a little too strong for me.
I should have read the comments first so I could adjust the recipe however I usually make a recipe as written then adjusts to my taste.

  • Nice recipe but very strong.

Nice recipe but very strong.  I will reduce the 4 tsp per person to 1 or 2 for next time.  I agree with other suggestions to reduce the cardamon.  I did however like the inclusion of black tea.   Many recipes do not include this.

  • Delish! Next time I'd take

    Delish!

Next time I'd take out a little of the cardamon seeds to balance it out. I used 100g of rooibos loose leaf tea to be caffeine free with oat milk. Sweet, mild and creamy! I also used the butterfly to create a bit of frothiness.

  • This is really nice. I'd

This is really nice. I'd definately recommend brewing it with a black tea bag in a tea pot if you don't want to taste the grainy bits, but I don't mind it. I also added one star anise for extra flavour but might not be to everyones taste  tmrc_emoticons.)

  • Lovely! Won't be buying chai

Lovely! Won't be buying chai tea again!

Also rather than cleaning out the bowl after you have made the chai mix, bake some of your favourite bread. The spices give the bread a delicious flavour.

thanks for sharing this recipe.  It has a lovely fragrance but the cardamon was a bit strong to my taste.  And I forgot/didn't need to sweeten it. tmrc_emoticons.)
