Detox Lemonade

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey, (Optional) (Add to Taste)
  • 4-8 leaves fresh mint, (Optional (Add to Taste)

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add all ingredients except for Maple Syrup to thermomix bowl.

    2. Blend 10 sec/ speed 7

    3. Scrape down sides with spatula and blend again, 10 sec/ speed 7.

    4. Scrape down sides if needed.

    5. Remove measuring cup and place simmering Basket on top of the thermomix lid.

    6. 10 mins/ 100 degrees/ Gentle stir settingCounter-clockwise operation

    7. Add Honey to Bowl. Remove Basket and place measuring cup on.

    8. 20 sec / Gentle stir settingNo counter-clockwise operation

    9. Strain Mix through Simmering basket, ensure you save the brewed water.

    10. Store in fridge overnight or for at least 4 hours and enjoy!!

Tip

The recipe easily multiplies to however much you want.

Drinking 250mL`s of the 'Detox Lemonade' twice daily before a meal will help you lose weight.

The finished product looks nothing like the Image.

This is a diet drink, I do not recommend giving this to children.

    Thank you for the recipe however the instructions above are incomplete’ I did save a copy of your original recipe luckily awhile back …so I was able to make your Detox drink today as you originally posted. I really like the flavour! it has a bit of a kick to it, (I did add a tiny bit of cayenne pepper as suggested and I’m glad I didn’t overdo it!) I served it on the rocks with mint. Please amend your recipe so people can enjoy it as much as I have… thanks again it’s a keeper for sure 😊 5 ⭐️‘S
