  • 1 tablespoons ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoons ground cardamom
  • 2 teaspoons ground cloves

  • 1 vanilla bean, Cut in half lengthways and into pieces

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place all ingredients into bowl, Mix 20 sec/speed 9.
  2. Store in a glass jar. Use 2tbs in a mug of boiling water, stir until smooth. Add milk to make it extra creamy.

    I love chai. Tastes great! Instead of boiling water, I made a cup of tea and added the mix to it.
