If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip

Add more liquid if you prefer a thinner juice.

Try adding a superfood, such as maca powder or hemp seeds.

Green smoothies are packed with disease-fighting nutrients - a fast and easy way to give your body what it needs.

Packed with phytonutrients from the greens, your immune system will get a nice boost to help it function optimally.

Unlike juices, smoothies consist of the entire fruit or vegetable, skin and all, and contain all of the fiber from the fruits and vegetables.  The blending process breaks the fibre apart (which makes the fruit and vegetables easier to digest) but also helps create a slow, even release of nutrients into the blood stream and avoids blood sugar spikes.

Get well soon! This will definitely get you on the right track.  You can shake in some powdered tumeric if you can't find fresh, as it will still have some benefits.

I have a horrid cold bug. Just went to the shops and bought the ingredients for this apart from tumeric as they didn't have it at the local supermarket. I left the skin on the lemon. I must admit I wasn't sure what to expect taste wise but it's actually really good. I'm really impressed. Lets hope it kills some of these germs! Thanks heaps for posting ☺️
