Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip
If you use coconut milk, you can opt to leave out the coconut oil, as this is added to provide extra fat for optimal absorption of the therapeutic turmeric compounds.

Love this made with almond
Love this made with almond milk - wish I could get it at my local cafe near to work. For me it was much nicer with almond milk than with coconut milk - the flavours seem to combine better.

Very very yummy indeed! Just used normal milk, as that was all I had in the house and it was delicious.

This is really delicious. I used a cinnamon stick and didn't think the flavour had infused enough so after heating I blended on speed 9 for 1 minute then strained through a nutmilk bag. It was super zingy and yummu. Next time I will cut the cardamom pods back to 1 as the flavour was a little strong after blending
