TM 5Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
Soak beans for 4-6 hours ( change the water after the first 2 hours) Prepare in 2 batches
Place 250g of beans and 400g water in cook for 8 minutes in 90 degrees celcius (2)
Next, cover the lid with MC and set 1 minute and blend ( 8 )
Add 400g water and ( 2 ) cook at 110 degrees celcius for 8 minutes ( make sure it boils )
Sieve with a stainless steel mesh sieve (fine) I prefer this for a creamier taste as some fine pulp will remain with the soya milk
Add 1 litre of boiling water to pulp (sieved earlier). Sieve it into the concentrate soya milk.
Serve hot or chilled + sweetener to taste
