  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 200 g ice cubes
  • 350 g watermelon, in chunks
  • 200-300 g cold milk (of choice ~ dairy, nut, soy or rice)

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place sugar and vanilla bean into mixing bowl and mill for 10 secs/sp 10.
    Add ice and mill a further 10 secs/sp 10.
    Add watermelon and milk and blend for 30 secs/sp 8.
    Serve immediately.

    This is a refreshing way to get a bit of dairy food into my non- dairy loving daughter. I didn't have a vanilla bean so I was going to add a dash of vanilla essence. I forgot to add it but it was nice anyway.

    i will try it with a bit of mint next time, and see how that tastes.

    This receipe was really tasty, thanks. It helped me use up my extra watermelon, but i used vanilla essence because i didn't have any beans.  :)
