Basic tuna mornay

  • 50 g Butter
  • 50 g Corn Flour
  • 500 g Milk
  • 80 g cheese
  • 1 cup corn kernels (frozen)
  • 425 g tin of tuna, drained
  • 150 g pasta

Recipe's preparation

  1. Describe the preparation steps of your recipe

  2. Add butter, flour, milk, and cheese. Cook for 7 minutes at 90 degrees on speed 4.

  3. Add in a large tin of tuna, corn and pasta (if using). Cook for 10-12 minutes at 100 degrees, speed soft on reverse.  If using pasta cook for 15-17 minutes.

    Counter-clockwise operation

    This is a perfect basic recipe, then just add all the extras you want. 

    I made one with half an onion, 6 mushrooms, 2tsp garlic, 1tsp seeded mustard, salt n petter and a splash of sweet chilli sauce... Absolutely amazing!! I didn't realise it was so easy to make!! Was the second time I've made something  Big Smile

    I've made this one a couple of times for my children. I use risoni pasta. My fuss pots love it. I do add garlic and onion.

    Thank you! just cooking this now tmrc_emoticons.) we are GF so cooking pasta separtely. Cant wait to eat it tmrc_emoticons.) I added 1 tsp seeded mustard as i always used to do that on the stove tmrc_emoticons.)

    Taste was good with the onion and garlic added. i had not found a yummy just the way it is recipe yet for tuna mornay...now I have. We'll done tmrc_emoticons.)
