Tip

Thia is a favorite in my family. We like it as a soupy serving, but we also like this with a thicker sauce and put into Volavonts topped with cheese and grilled. Or served in crapes

This was easy & delicious 😋 I realised when I'd started making it, that I didn't have any cayenne pepper, so I just added cracked black pepper instead. I did Step 3 twice because my butter hadn't melted properly. Overall, it was really enjoyable ❤️👍🙂

Hubby loved it! Kids didn't so will halve cayenne next time. Added more milk as it's very thick and would add less fish sauce

My husband loves this and requests it often.  It is so easy to make. I only use a sprinkle of ceyenne pepper as we don't like things too spicy.  Thanks for sharing tmrc_emoticons.)

  • Sadly this just didn't do it

    Submitted by PinkSwan on 10. March 2016 - 17:56.

Sadly this just didn't do it for me.

The cayenne and fish sauce were overpowering and the texture is really thick - definitely would be more suited as vol au vent type filling.

    Submitted by malleea on 22. February 2016 - 12:27.

This recips was so tasty, I put only 1/4 tsp of cayenne and it was delicious.  I also made it gluten free, using GF flour - 70 gms as I find you always need a little more when GF. I also threw in cooked diced carrot and potatoes that I had leftover in the fridge - Hubby Loved it!

    Hi

I found the seafood needed another 5-7 minutes to cook. It was way too spicy for my kids so next time I will 1/4 the cayeene pepper.

Really tasty and all the elements were there I just need to fine tune it a bit for my family

    thanks so much

Hubby loved this recipe (I'm not into seafood).  I didn't have any ceyenne pepper at the time so I substituted with garam marsala and used coconut milk to give it an asian flavour.  Thank you for posting this recipe  tmrc_emoticons.)
