Hot Curry Chicken

  • 2 onions
  • 1 red capsicum
  • 60g Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons curry powder, I use Clive of India Curry Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon raw sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable or Chicken Stock Paste
  • 400 mls water
  • 3 Tablespoons flour

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Discard skin and bones from chicken.
    Chop chicken meat into bite size pieces.

    Add onions and capsicum into TM bowl and chop for 3 secs on speed 5.
    Add butter and cook 5 mins on Varoma speed 1.
    Add all other ingredients except chicken and cook 5 mins on 100 degrees speed 1.
    Add chicken and cook for 10 minson 100 degrees Counter-clockwise operationspeed 1.

    serve with rice or on toast
