Layered Salad

Ingredients

Prepare each item separately in order and layer the salad onto a large serving dish

  • 1 large head iceberg lettuce, torn into small pieces
  • 4 medium (or 3 large) gherkins, chopped in TMX 2 secs sp 4
  • 1 cup green capsicum, chopped in TMX pulse on turbo
  • 1 cup celery, chopped, chopped in TMX 2 secs sp 4
  • 30 g radishes, chopped in TMX 2 secs sp 4
  • 1 bunch spring onions, chopped in TMX 4 secs sp 4
  • 1 pack frozen peas, uncooked
  • 4 rashers bacon, cooked then crumbled, chopped in TMX 4 secs sp 4
  • 100 g extra sharp cheddar cheese, chopped in TMX 4 secs sp 4
  • 50 g ripe olives, chopped in TMX 2 secs sp 4

Dressing

  • 1 cup mayonnaise, EDC recipe
  • 1 cup salad dressing
  • 2/3 teaspoon curry powder

Recipe's preparation

  1. An easy, tasty and attractive salad.  This can be done several days ahead of serving and sealed in fridge container.


    To serve


    Put dressing ingredients in TMX bowl bowl, whip for 5 seconds on speed 6, pour over layered salad and top with remaining cheese, bacon and olives.  Should spoon nicely.
