Low Carb Granola

  • 40 g almonds, extra
  • 55 g dessicated coconut
  • 40 g Hemp Seeds
  • 2 tbsp cocout oil
  • 50-60 g Maple syrup, optional
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla beans or extract
  • 90 g almonds
  • 95 g macadamia nuts
  • 1/4 cup --- sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Recipe's preparation

    Granola
  1. Preheat oven to 160g. Place extra almonds (40g) into thermomix bowl. Blend it for 10secs/speed 8 to make almond meal
  2. Add coconut, hemp seeds, coconut oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla, almonds (90g) and macadamia nuts into the bowl. Blend 3secs/speed 7.
  3. Add remaining ingredients to the bowl. Mix for 20secs/reverse/speed 1. Spread out on a tray lined with baking paper.
  4. Bake for 20-30mins, stiring after first 10mins and then every 5mins after that. Once the granola is golden brown, remove from the oven and allow to cool completed. Place in an airtight container once cooled.

Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
