lorore:Thanks for the feedback. Before the thermomix I had never been successful cooking omelette, always ended up scrambling it, so for me, this was the first time I had cooked an omelette so had no comparison in terms of time.
I made this after trying a steamed omelette with the egg mix beaten in a bowl rather than the thermomix so my intention here was to create a recipe that used only the thermomix.
Now I have chickens and geese so make them a lot and have learned to cook them in a pan, still beat the mix in the thermy though. I actually completely forgot about doing it in the steamer!
This was quite tasty. The
This was quite tasty. The only reason I'm giving it a 2 is that it took twice as long as doing it in a saucepan would have taken, and because of using the Varoma it created 3 times the number of dishes to be washed. The recipe itself is fine, though! I'm glad I gave it a try!
We made the omlette version
We made the omlette version of this for dinner tonight. The omlette was quite tasty however I found it to be very fiddly and fairly time consuming to make compared to the more traditional way in a frypan. The portions were also quite small for two people. Thank you for the recipe as I was keen to try this.
Added some Ham, and cooked
Added some Ham, and cooked for another 4 minutes. Beautiful....Thankyou

Great flavours!! Such soft, fluffy and delicious scrambled eggs. Originally, I thought it was going to take much longer in the TM vs a stove-top pan for making scrambled eggs but for the outcome of the eggs, less cleaning and the ability to walk away and do other things in the morning, I am going to keep coming back to this recipe!! Thanks for sharing

Absolutely amazing! Delicious. So tasty. I had to cook it for a bit longer (about 6 mins longer) but it was perfect and so easy.
I made this for breakfast
I made this for breakfast (well, lunch, yay for sleeping in), and used bacon instead of tomato, and parmesan for the cheese and it was amazing. Had a bit of trouble getting it off the baking paper, but that didn't change the taste! Absolutely one of the best omelettes I have ever had.

I've made this a few times
I've made this a few times but have been too afraid to use the Varoma (I'm a newbie!).
Today, seeing as I've got a litttle extra time, I'm giving it a go. I too added a few things- mushrooms, bacon and spring onions.
Love this easy to make healthy, gluten free breakfast.

Thanks for this recipe... as someone who has just in the few days received the device, this worked well..very easy and the timings were fine... wet crumpled baking paper meant that the eggs removed easily ..with smoked shedded smoked salmon through the scrambled eggs made for a very pleasant breakfast.

Thanks for the recipe! Just threw an omelette together tonight after work using your recipe as a guide.
I blitzed up parmesan cheese, spring onions and mushrooms (hidden veg ), added the eggs and milk (increased quantity of each to 5), followed rest of steps and added chopped red capsicum, corn kernals and sliced ham before cooking.
I wet and wrung out baking paper and didn't have a problem with it sticking.
Thanks again for the quick recipe!

Hi there, tried your recipe
Hi there, tried your recipe this morning and it was a success, thanks. I had no need to use the butter/marg and there was no sticking to the paper. I may have used a little more milk than the recipe, so it was quite moist, however still cooked through. I will definitely be trying it again. Cheers

I have updated to include
I have updated to include some butter or margerine for greasing the paper. I made it this morning and couldn't do an omelette because the mixture had stuck to the paper a fair bit.
