  • Hot smoked salmon pieces
  • 30 grams parmesan
  • 1200 grams water
  • 1 heaped tsp salt
  • 250 grams fettuccine (gluten free if needed)
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 3 spring onions
  • 10 sprigs of parsley
  • 60 grams cream
  • 30 grams Butter

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Add the parmesan to the bowl in 3cm pieces and chop 3 seconds on speed 9. Set it aside and wash and dry your bowl so that the cheese doesn't cook in the heat of the water.

    Add water and salt to the Thermomix bowl and boil for 10 minutes, VAROMA speed 2, place your simmering basket on top.
    Add pasta and cook to the directions of the packet at 100 degrees, speed 1 placing the simmering basket on top.

    Once pasta is cooked to your liking strain it through the simmering basket and retain about 100mls of the cooking water.. Add the pasta to a thermal server and keep it hot.

    Dry the bowl and add the garlic and spring onions and some of the parsley. 3 secs speed 9. Add cream, butter and water and cook for 5 minutes 90 degrees speed 2. Add the parmesan and cook for 2 minutes, 90 degrees speed 2. Add the sauce to the pasta and add the salmon. Let it sit in the thermal server for about 5 minutes until all of the ingredients are friends. Serve with some sprinkled parsley, some lemon zest to your liking on top and enjoy. You're welcome x

Tip

Always use your simmering basket rather than your MC when cooking above 95 degrees.
