- 85 g cornmeal (polenta)
- 70 g plain flour
- pinch salt
- 1 egg
- 100 g Milk
- plain flour, for dusting
- canola oil, for frying
- 6 hotdogs, halved
Combine cornmeal, flour, salt, egg and milk in TM bowl 6 Secs/Speed 6.
Pour batter into tall glass.
Skewer hotdogs and lightly dust with plain flour.
Heat oil, dip hotdogs into batter and then deep fry until golden brown.
Serve with tomato sauce/mustard (whatever takes your fancy).
Roll the corndogs as they cook to ensure the batter is cooked evenly.
