Potato & parsnip whip - Variation Best mashed potato ever.
- 500 g water
- 290 grams parsnip (approx 1), Peeled & cut into cubes (2cm)
- 460 g potatoes, floury, Peeled & cut into cubes(2cm)
- pinch salt, to taste, remember that potato absorbs a lot of salt.
- 1 teaspoon vegetable stock concentrate
- 150 g Milk
- 50 g Butter

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- - Pour water into TM bowl.
- Insert simmering basket and add parsnip and potatoes.
- Cook 20-25min/Veroma/"Gentle stir setting" .
- Check that parsnip and potatoes are soft, if not, cook for longer checking every 3-5mins.
Once cooked, remove simmering basket and discard water from TM bowl.
- Attach butterfly and tip parsnip and potatoes into TM bowl.
- Add salt, stock, milk and butter then beat 10seconds/speed 4.
Serve immediatley and enjoy.
