  • 60 g Butter
  • 100 g honey
  • 50 g golden syrup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Paste
  • 170 g plain flour
  • 65 g self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 250 g apples, Cored
  • 150 g Frozen Berries

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Dough
  1. Add Butter, Honey, Golden Syrup & Vanilla Paste.
    Cook 5mins/100°C/speed5[/b]
  2. Add Plain Flour, Self raising flour, Bicarbonate soda, 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon.

  3. Remove dough from the bowl & place onto a silicone mat in a rectangle shape to cool for 30-45mins.
  4. Clean bowl
  5. Add Apples, Frozen berries, pitted dates.

  6. Add 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon

  7. Chop 20sec/speed9
  8. Preheat Oven to 180 deg. Prepare baking tray
  9. Once dough is cooled, roll out to a thin rectangle about 3mm thick.
  10. Cut about 12 retangles from the dough. Doing one bar at a time, Place small amount of the filling onto dough. Then bring both sides together, overlapping slightly to form a case around the filling. Place on baking tray seam down.
  11. Repeat for all rectangles. Leave space between each bar as they will expand in the oven.

    Bake for 10-12 mins. Do watch these however as every oven varies and they can burn quickly.

    I am trying to lose weight and do a lot of sports with basketball stars so what ingredients should this recipe reduce to not easily cause fat and fat accumulation?
