Gluten Free Cheese Ball (Pão de Queijo)

Dough

  • 50 g water
  • 150 g Milk
  • 50 g oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 250 g organic tapioca flour
  • 1 egg
  • 150 g Parmesan cheese, cubes
  • 100 g Cheddar, cubes

Recipe's preparation

    Dough
  1. 1- Place  cheese on TM bowl, grate 13 sec / speed 9. Set aside. Clean and dry mixing bowl.

    2 - Add water, milk, oil and salt to TM bowl, MC removed,  bring to boil 6 min / 100C / speed 3.

    3 - Add 250g Tapioca flour to TM bow, start the TM forl 2 min / speed 3, keep adding the remaining flour through hole in mixing bowl.

    4 - Add Eggs, and knead 2 min / Closed lidDough mode.

    5 - Add cheese, and knead 2 min / Closed lidDough mode

    6 - Roll 2 tablespoon of mixture into small balls.

    7 - Place the balls on a baking tray lined with baking paper or oven thermomat

    8 - Bake the cheese balls in hot oven (200C) for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Tip

Organic Tapioca flour can be found in Health and Organic grocery stores.

 

It can be frozen and baked directly from freezer...

Place the cheeses balls on a tray lined with baking paper. Put the tray in the freezer. When the cheese balls are frozen, put them in a plastic bag and put them back in the freezer.
