These are lovely. I read the comments and made some additions from the great suggestions. Also, the freezer tip for rolling was a life saver. I added blitzed sultanas that I soaked in 4 tbs of spiced rum (so doubled the rum for the recipe) and blitzed dark chocolate. I rolled half in chocolate sprinkles and the other half in the coconut.

I made a few changes, turned them into fudgey balls of deliciousness. Doubled the rum, reduced the condensed milk a bit and added an extra TB of cocoa (I like them rich and chocolatey!) Had to remind myself not to lick the blades

I googled rum balls wanting to find the simple arrowroot biscuit recipe my mother in law made in the 1970’s and this was the first search and exactly the one I was searching for.
It was so easy, but we doubled the Rum (4 tablespoons) 😁👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Hi, Thanks for an easy recipe which has turned out to be a crowd pleaser! I didn't put the rum in, which I guess makes them 'balls' instead of 'rum balls', but they were still really yummy. I did have to put in extra biscuits to keep their round shape, because they went flat once I rolled them.

This was a HUGE hit with my workmates. Next time I would probably add a little extra rum because I like them strong.
I also made a variation and exchanged the rum for peppermint essence and it was a perfect amount for some peppermint balls - yummo.
