If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Add all ingredients to bowl, blend speed 7, 30 seconds.
Remove lid, scrape down sides with spatula, replace lid and blend speed 7, 15 seconds. Repeat as required until a thick paste forms.
Remove paste from bowl and press into small silicon moulds (chocolate moulds).
Refrigerate until set, approx 2 hours. Pop out of moulds and store in the fridge in an airtight container.

Tip
Notes - if you prefer your "caramels" sweeter, use more maple syrup.
If you can't find organic dessicated coconut, organic shredded coconut works just as well. You may need to blend a little longer to achieve a fine paste consistency.
